Tuna Mushroom Sauce

This is a low-cost recipe devised by my mother and shared amongst the family so that we can always have a nice meal on just a few bucks Canadian. If you don't like mushrooms, neither do I, but I still like this. If you don't like garlic, that's too bad because my entire family would never be able to survive as a vampire. Garlic is life.

What You'll Need

Making the Sauce

Peel the onion and chop it into pieces the size you like to eat. Big, little, doesn't matter. Just as long as you like them. Put them in the pot on medium heat with butter. Stir it around occasionally and let it cook for a couple minutes, until the onion starts to turn a bit transparent.

Peel and cut the garlic into whatever size you want. Add half of it to the pot and keep the other half for later.

When the onion is done getting soft and see-through, add the mushroom soup and the tuna. We tend to add about half the water from the tuna and give the other half to our cats, but you can do whatever you want. Add a splash of wine and a splash of soy sauce. Keep cooking it until it reaches the temperature you want it to be. Add the last of the garlic.

Eat it whenever you want, with whatever you want. We tend to eat it on spaghetti noodles, instead of tomato sauce or whatever. We also put it on toast. You could eat it like a soup. Do whatever you want. I don't care.
